Lecture by Dr. Ibrahim Abo El Ala at the University of Madrid, Spain

Under an agreement signed between the Islamic Economics Research Centre (IERC) and the University of IE, Spain, Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Abualola, deputy director of IERC at King Abdulaziz University, visit Madrid this week to present three lectures on Islamic economics and finance, and to participate in a panel discussion open with some professors at two Universities in Madrid and the Centre for Policy Studies. The program will be Dr. Ibrahim as follows:

• Lecture on "Islamic finance" to MBA graduate students at  IE University of, on Wednesday morning, October 14, 2009.
• Lecture on "Islamic economics" to PhD students at the University of IE, on Wednesday evening, October 14, 2009.
• Lecture via video conferencing, which will benefit one of the professors Spanish Prof. JC Madina in teaching the material at the University of Spanish National Distance University, on Thursday, October 15, 2009.
